Father's Day

According to the National Retail Federation, the most popular gifts for dads are clothing, electronic items, and special outings. Americans spend nearly $13.3 billion to honor Dads across the country. That's a lot of ties and argyle socks!

For some of our friends and colleagues in the industry, this will be their first Father's Day. It's been exciting to talk with many of them about their experiences and feelings. I found myself wanting to share advice and tips. There are many helpful things that people told me and it's important to "pay it forward" and pass those things along.

I think the best gift a Father could receive on Father's Day is the gift of wisdom from those who are further along in the journey of fatherhood. Becoming a father brought clarity and perspective to my life. Sometimes the best things in life are free.
